I was working with one of the consulting firms. In March 2020 I put my paper and as per discussion with management, my Last day was 9 April (after serving notice period). I had handed over all the work and assets to the company. Since June 2020, I started following for my releasing and FnF, at that time HR told me that due to covid FNF is on hold. In the month of September, they send me an FnF calculation after reducing 30% of the salary. During my employment and after employment with the company I was never told about any reduction in various mail communication with the company. So wanted to know, how can I challenge the same and legal aspect of this.

You are required to make a detailed representation to the employer and also to the local Labour Conciliation Officer praying for settlement of the dispute. Otherwise you have to approach the Labour Court for getting the grievance redressed alongwith Interest, costs damages and litigation expenses.
