Hi Sir, I was working in an Indian company since Sep,2017 but recently I have resigned by dropping a mail to my manager clearly mentioning in the mail that due to some personal reason I would not be able to serve any notice period which is of 3 months in this organization.Since dropping the mail, I have not gone back to the premises of the company and also not willing to do so. I have some assets of the company that were assigned to me in my tenure such as a company's laptop, bag, mouse, Id.Now I wish to surrender these items.How can I do that. Shall I handover these items to one of a colleague who lives near to my home or shall I directly courier the items to the HR.Also please guide me that what legal action can company can take against me. There are no dues in my name and I am willing to pay the basic salary in return for the notice period if the HR demands. Regards

Dear Sir, If you are not willing, you are not forced to work with that company. Return the laptop etc by courier and maintain the acknowledgement. Never return any amount to the company till they go to the Court. Be cool and engage in another work Forget about this and they will not dare enough to file a suit against you. Be bold. You have done everything properly.

The things to do should be in accordance to the T&C in the appointment order.. Just mail them that u want to rejoin the company and ask excuse.. In the same mail mention that u have those things with u and willing to surrender as of their request..

just contact to your HR ND handover all the assets belong to the company.... sure the company will take legal action against uh if some how confidential information share to any third party.... read bond/agreement between uh ND ur. company ....
