Adultery at the most can be helpful being a ground for divorce but not a crime because it always takes place with the consent of the lady of the house. Thus no Criminal action can be taken against the paramour. Please give me Rank Five and follow me after reviewing my resume and book a consultation for further discussion and explanation if required.

Adultery has been decriminalized, but it is still a valid ground for seeking divorce. Further, adultery can be used to claim damages for causing mental agony, cruelty, and loss of respect. There are other provisions to claim damages due to adulterous relationship. If you like my answer, please rate me.

Adultry being decriminalized under IPC doesnot mean that exercising same will not result in causing damages. Adultry is a rigid ground that can be used by either spouse to file a divorce petition in before the appropriate Hon;ble family court, you also may claim some serious damages for mental agony caused by non-consetual Adultry commited by the other part, for that you will have to initiate with a strong legal notice mentioning your contentions and allegations upon your spouse so that a proper end can be put to the things, and if same continues you may initiate judicial separation proceedings further, if you do like my answer and want to get the strong notice service done on your spouse at a highly economic fee you may contact me at *Email* for further discussion. Have a lovely day.
