Can A Major Legally Disown Her Mentally And Physically Abusive Mother In India

I am a girl from Bihar, 18 years of age. My mother puts me in a lot of mental trauma every single day for all my childhood and the intensity has increased to an unbearable limit now. She tortures my psychologically and even made me suicidal at times. She is what you would say, a very abusive form of Narcisstic Mother and I cannot bear all this anymore. Slangs, abuses, derogatory remarks about my body, isolating me from my friends and family, beating me just for domination, she has crossed all limits. My father isn't able to help either and he stays out of town most time. I also want to know if any family could adopt me (an adult of 18 years) or is there something I can do so that she doesn't claim over me as "mother". Any and all help will be very very appreciated. Please help me out of this and point me in the right direction
