My father has thrown my brother out of family and property because he had an extra marital affair and he left his wife and children. Now my brother is threatening me that he will expose my private pictures on social media platforms. Do I have any legal rights over this issue? And also her wife is saying she will file a case against me my mom and dad in regard to dowry and other false allegations. Please suggest any safety precautions we can have to protect ourselves,

First of all serve a legal notice asking him to refrain from making any such move else he will also be facing dire consequences. Probably, it will resolve the issue. At this stage there no need to go for some serious type of legal action. you are male or female? pls specify. what type of personal pics he is threatening about? however, if he expose/circulate your private pics without your wish you can file a police complaint agaisnt him as per the relevcant sections of IT act & IPC. to safeguard your interest, your parents can file a formal complaint agaisnt the wife of youir brother about harassment
