Well you can live in hostel but who will bear your expenses. If you are self earning then ofcourse, no problem.

You can lead your own life but you may have to face the consequences and then no body in this society comet to your aid. If you are bold then go ahead world has big space for every body even for orphan.

Well.. Legally speaking.. U r an adult and you have rights to be independent.. You are also eligible to sue for maintenance from ur parents, until ur marriage.. This a social issue faced by many of the girls (& some boys) in India.. This situation has to be faced and tactfully handled.. Think twice, Act smart... You need to be economically independent with abundant self confidence to live on your own.. Since I am not well know about your issues, my general advice would be..
