I am going through a contested divorce and custody case for my child(8yrs now). The case was logged in Jan 2019, and it is still in progress. The father of the child is in Australia and hasn't appeared to court, the case always gets postponed. Now I have the opportunity to travel abroad for work to UK, to take my son along with me I would require to submit the letter of travel consent to be signed from father to be submitted to Embassy. But I have spoken to the father and also mailed him requesting to sign the documents, But he is refusing and has told me bluntly to get things done through court and not to ask him for any such signature. Even though the court has ordered him to pay maintenance he doesn't pay maintenance also. I am clueless on how to proceed with the consent letter. Can the court help me get any such letter. Please guide

Hi, You can apply for consent letter from court. However, for the alimony part you need to submit husband office address and designation to the court , then the court will get it attached for you and the kid u/s 125 CrPc. If you find this answer helpful, please rate us.
