No, she is the owner of the property and the property can only be disposed off as per her will. As per Hindu law, immovable or movable property after marriage is her stridhan and no one can claim any right over it.
Dear Sir, If it is self acquired property of your mother then she has absolute right over such property and she can give it to anybody.
hello, Bijai, if the property is her own Stridhana which means it is not an ancestoral property then she could gift the property or make a will to which ever son she likes, as her wish, and the other person will not have any claim over it.
If the property in question is a self acquired property which means that the property had not been inherited by your mother from any if her relative, then, your mother has every right to make a WILL of the property in favour of any of her children or even any other person as she likes.
