# Christians # Father is no more. Mother has a property inherited from her father. They have one son and one daughter. Can she give that property to SON only and leave daughter with NONE by will. If she sells the property today, can she give all the proceeds to son only? This is her inherited property. Do daughter have any right to her inherited property.

In Your case the thing to be considered is that will it become an ancestrial property? Because the property devolved upon Mother side is still not a conspicuously decided question of law.
