I would like to take your advise regarding my colleague's father who is an gypsum carpenter and had left his family in India and living with another lady illegally in Muscat, Oman. My colleague, her father and the lady are Muslim by religion. The lady who is living with her father does not possess legal status to live with him in Muscat, Oman. Her visa status is House maid as per the labour law of Oman she is supposed to live in the local national sponsors house. Instead she is living with him, forcibly cheating him to possess his salary. So his daughter wants to lodge complaint against the lady for having illegal relationship and living together with her father in Muscat, Oman. Is it possible by my colleague to go to Oman on visit visa and lodge a complaint against her father and take up legal actions. Please kindly advise the necessary procedures and process to get her father from that lady. Please forward me your reply.

Hi, You will have to file a complaint with the authorities in Oman, if the woman is in violation of any law. However, this might have negative consequences on your father as well.
