Dear Mr. Nikhil, You apparently have two options for finalisation of the dispute. Legally speaking, since you are in possession of the land in dispute since the last thirty five years, and the limitation under general law and also the period of adverse possession has also elapsed long ago. It can be good ground for contesting the case, if the situation so arises you will succeed. Otherwise the matter can be resolved amicably by paying for the land and getting the sale deed executed. Give me Rank Five, Follow me Contact me telephonically, if further discussion or explanation is required.
