I appeared in the departmental exam for the post of Asst. advt in Apr 18 for the vacancy year 2016-17 & 2017-18 and it get cancelled/ post-pone and rescheduled. before the reschedule exam date i.e. 15 Sept 18, for the same advt exam. In meanwhile I got promoted as assistant through DPC on 01 Sept 18 and get seniority of 2018. Now they are saying you are not eligible to sit in the exam, as per RR "Promotion by LDCE confined to UDC with 03 years Regular service in the grade" as u r promoted to asst. As per RR also "The eligibility or admission to be LDCE will be reckoned from the date Notified in the memorandum calling for applications for the said examination". what should I do? My juniors became seniors as they got placed in higher year seniority 16-17 & 17-18, which denied to me & whether I am eligible to sit in the exam as per RR and I already appeared and it was cancelled by them.
