I was working for my company on a six months contract basis. This contract is completed, but they offered me rejoining for 1 month and 18 days and I severely that offer. They changed my grade from ETR to A. I did go for the office for 2 days. But after that due to the coronavirus containment zone and my mother feels severely ill and I am the only family to take care of her. I want to resign but HR is asking me to serve a notice period of one month and I don't want to. So what should I do?
