Asked in Land use and zoning
I agree with the opinion of Advocate N Karthikkanna
no one can prohibited but we can built a farm house first we can convert agriculture to non agriculture procedure
Karnataka Land Reforms Act, 1961, restricts a person or family from non-agriculture background from buying farmland. From 1995, only those with less than an annual income of ?2 lakh were allowed to buy farmland (before 1995, the ceiling was ?50,000). After the 2015 amendment, those above ?25 lakh income could buy farmland only after conversion of the land. Now latest amendment anyone can buy land after 30 days waiting time if it's more than 5,445 sq ft. If less than that there may be some difficulty.. since it's the (state) local law consult with Local (Karnataka) lawyers, others might not be aware or updated regarding latest scenario.
no one can be prohibited to do any legal work
