Rights To Father's (Deceased) Property

Our family consists of three people. Myself, sister and my mother. Also, my grandmother is alive. I would like to know what is the rights of us to my father's property. this property is an ancestral one. which was given to my father with the concern of all his siblings and mother as well. He passed away in 2008. Since then all the documents have been taken over by my uncle. He is not giving us those documents. I want to know is there any legal rights to my grandmother on that property.
