Can A Tenant's Property Be Confiscated If He Is Unwilling To Pay Rent Or Come

I want to ask a question about property law for landlords. I live in West Bengal. My room has been occupied by a tenant from December, last year. But for the last 4 months, he is not paying rent and after the lockdown started, he went home. Now even after asking him for the rent through phone calls and texts multiple times, he is not paying it. In fact not only I have given him eviction notice 1 month before, but also told him that we will confiscate everything after 1st June, if he doesn't show up or pay. though he says all the time that he will come, he still has not. So my question here is, can I seize his belongings. There is no agreement between us.
