Dear Sir, You cannot be evicted without issuing legal notice and then approaching Civil Court by filing Suit for Eviction. Police cannot interfere since it is a civil matter.
It is difficult but only if there is breach of any terms of the Rent Note/Rent Deed which is the deciding factor under the such circumstances. Hence, you are the best judge of the situation. A landlord should have a valid reason if he wants to evict a tenant. The reason could be wrongdoing as prescribed by the Rent Control Act and Indian law. However, the owner can evict a tenant if he wants to use the premise for himself. In the agreement there is clause breach of the terms and condition by the parties. You need check the clause.
