    Sir, you should definitely issue a legal notice and collect proof of the condition of the apartment as you left it. Also, file for punitive damages which can go higher than Rs. 5 Lakh claiming mental disturbance, and legal fees. The time of repayment must be specified.     Hello Sir It would be advised to send him a legal to notice to pay back the money due. And in case he does'nt pay the money the you would take legal action against him. In legal action you could file a money recovery suit against him. Thanks Please rate if you find this advice helpful
