Asked in Landlord or Tenant
Hi, Ask him for receipts since he is legally bound to issue you receipts. Also, if you paid rent through an online transaction then you have the bank statements as evidence. Otherwise issue him a legal notice to give you the receipts. If you find this answer helpful please rate my answer. Thank you.
You can ask for receipts. if he refuse then send a legal notice.
Dear Sir, Get issue a legal notice or stop payments of rent then he will issue legal notice admitting tenancy of four years.
Besides rent agreement, payment of rent and rent receipts can be used to prove tenancy. If you have paid the rent in cash, you are entitled to rent receipts. If you deposited the amount monthly in the account of the landlord, you can show your account statements to evidence payment of rent.
