It is a civil matter, tenant cannot be arrested but can be compelled to pay the rent and to vacate the tenanted premises. File a Petition for enactment you will get the arrears of rent and also an eviction Order. Please give me Rank Five and follow me after reviewing my resume and contact me telephonically for further discussion and explanation if required.

Mr.Vijay , you have not mentioned since when your tenant is not paying Rent. If he is not paying Rent during Lock Down Period he is protected by Lock down measures. In otherwise you issue Legal Notice and proceed as Tamilnadu Rent Act

Issue a legal notice to vacate the premises and to settle the amount. After that file a suit for eviction.

There is no need to get worried. there is a rent control act in every state under which you can recover your dues rented monies. First of all, send a legal notice (warning of eviction) to your tenant and after this file civil suit in civil court of your district where your property is situated for taking possession of your rented property back and recovery of dues rent.
