I got married in January 2020 and after marriage, I was staying with my husband in a different city than my in-laws. During the marriage, my parents had given us 5lacs as gift which my father in law kept and didn't give us after asking 4/5 times. When I went to my in-law's place after 5 months of marriage my sister-in-law had taken all my jewelry kept in my cupboard and refused to give me back and abused me. And then my husband too supported his father and sister. And he physically abused me. Now I want to file a police case on them. Can I file a theft case against my sister in law? And divorce case against my father in law. And the domestic violence case against my husband. Will they get arrested and if so then for how many days they can get punishment.

You can't file theft case.you can file dowry harassment case on them,and also you can able to file domestic violence act against all of them.then punishment may be depends upon the trial
