Hi, I am Rishi Uberoi, and I booked a flat with a prominent builder under the subvention scheme. According to the TPT Agreement, the subvention period was to end on 30th September 2024. In July 2024, two months before the deadline, I reached out to the builder to discuss an extension, and they assured me it would be extended until possession was handed over.
However, a week before the end of September, the builder informed me the subvention would not be extended, and I would need to pay the interest to the bank. This was surprising, as I had planned my finances based on their earlier email confirming the extension.
Now, this sudden reversal has placed a financial burden on me. Given the builder’s email commitment, is there a solution where they continue covering the interest as promised? What steps can I take to address this issue?
