Recovery Of Money From Individual

in 2013 i have given 550000 to a known one and in return he gave me a cheque of rs.550000 and he told me that he will pay this amount with in a year. He gave me a date that i should now encaah the cheque. When I present a cheque in a bank cheque was bounced. when I contact him he asked for few more time. I Gave him and again he didn't return my money when I told him that this time I am going to file a case in cout he start giving my amount in installment but since last 4-5 month he stop the payment and still my 280000 is pending with him. please suggest me what should I do now.
