I wanted to purchase sex toys from aliexpress and checked to make sure it wasn't banned in India. Luckily, I got to know that display of such material was considered obscene and was illegal, which I clearly did not intend to do. It was for personal use and there was no rule against purchasing sex toys. So, I ordered one, and it was returned back to the sender after it reached India. The seller told me that it is not being accepted by India post so it was sent back. What can I do to get it imported legally so that I can get it?

Dear Abhimanyu, You are fortunate enough as the same was sent back to the seller, otherwise in most of the cases it is consficated by the customs and then you are liable to pay the penalty. It is advisable not to try again to import the same in India as it would lead you into unnecessary trouble. The import of such toys is illegal in India. Regards, Kajal Bhatia
