Advocates and Appellant will get updates of cases via email soon

The eCommittee of Hon’ble Supreme Court has directed all the High Courts to create a database of advocates and appellant to create a Case Information System.
Following the above direction, High Courts have directed all District and Sessions Judges under its jurisdiction to create a database of email ids of lawyers and litigants before 25th October and submit the same in the Case Information System (CIS).
After creation of such database, parties and their Advocates will get regular updates of their cases through their registered email addresses. This ‘Automated mailing service’ will also facilitate transfer of cause lists and copies of judgments and orders.
