Nirmal Singh, head of the District Bar Association, while confirming the notice said that shortly after the meeting of the house, the notice of the Council will be made known to the lawyers associates.

In March-April, there will be an attempt to create consensus for the elections. This can postpone the Association’s election by nearly 100 days. If the consent is not created then the council will be informed about the decision of the house.

The same controversy happened in 2015 too

In the year 2015, the State Bar Council had issued notices to the District Bar Association, while attempting to hold elections simultaneously in the entire state. Elections were concluded on May 16, 2015 after the decision in the House meeting. Advocate Rajesh Sharma was elected as the President. Contradicting the election, the other party went to the High Court. The High Court had canceled the election of District Bar Association after May 11, 2015 declaring as invalid. Rajesh Sharma’s advocate moved to the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court Double-Bench heard the election valid as the trial.
