Nainital HC Historic Decision, Now Arms Can Not Be Taken in Marriage

Nainital High Court has ruled historically. The court said that no one would take any weapons during religious programs, marriage ceremonies, schools, college campuses or any such program where crowds are gathered.
The trial court has upheld the life sentence awarded to the accused on behalf of Bageshwar. Along with this, the court has ordered the SSP of all the districts of the state not to give gun license to those under 21 years of age.
In the last five years, the person who has received any punishment for fights or violence has not been granted license. The person who has been bonded to maintain peace should also not get a license. The court said that no one would take any weapons during religious programs, marriage ceremonies, schools, college campuses or any such program where crowds are gathered.
The case was heard before a bench of Senior Judge Rajiv Sharma and Justice Sharad Kumar Sharma on Wednesday. Bhagwan Singh filed an appeal and challenged the order passed by the lower court of Bageshwar on July 12, 2013. In the above order, the lower court sentenced the accused to life imprisonment and Rs 25 thousand in jail for attempting murder and murder of the accused, Lord Singh.

According to the case Dharam Singh had filed a lawsuit in the police station on April 21, 2007, alleging that the son of the accused was married. The accused fired on the return of the procession, in which Anita, Khushal Singh, Umaid Singh, Vimla puffed up. All were taken to the hospital, where Anita and Khushal Singh died. In this case, the lower court sentenced the accused to life imprisonment.
