This is illegal and unlawful as per RBI and Sc guidelines in this regard. If you are receiving any sort of threats and being harassed by recovery agent you can complaint against him in the bank branch/ombudsman branch of the bank. In addition to this, tell you friends/relatives to record calls made by recovery agent if any and complaint to police station of your stayed area. If recovery agent frequently visit at your house and misbehave with you or any member of your family you can also file police complaint and civil suit for seeking injunction order restraining them.
