I have a credit card and due to the COVID crisis and salary deductions for the last 3 months was unable to pay the due. The bank executive called my office colleagues with whom I have no relation in any manner and were asking the colleagues to call me and pay the DUE and also argued with them to pay my DUES. I do not have my office colleagues contact number as well as I even do not know them personally. Please suggest what to do.

Dear Francis As per RBI guidelines as well as SC directions, no person employed with any financial institution and recovery agent can disclose confidential information pertaining to you to any of your relatives or friends. The same act is illegal and unlawful. It is advisable file a written complaint to the bank manager regarding this. If they don't take any action then file complaint on RBI complainant portal. Contact the Bank authorities for getting the details of the account. It is a matter of grouse as to why the Bank has to talked to you directly before discussing the matter with others. It will be resolved. Contact me if further discussion is required.

They cannot do like that as it is infringement of your personal liberty. It is a personal loan as such banks are supposed face loss due to Covid. Get issue a strong legal notice and take action claiming compensation for making issues. Please give me Rank 5 and Review my Resume and Follow me if my answer satisfies you
