Employee Left Without Giving Notice Period In Company

I was working in a company from 3 months where in offer letter it was written 1st 3 months you will in a probational period and your salary will be ***** after that your discussed salary during interview will start from the 4th month. Now After working three 3 months i was getting the salary on time.. But 4th month they didnt paid me. Now i gave resignation letter to them. In offer letter its was mention that before leaving you have to inform 3 months before leaving this job to company. Now i havent sign any where nor they have sign in offer letter .NOw after i gave my resignation letter on mail they repied back after 4 days that you have been absconded from the service. SO is it a vaild case they can put on me from not informing and left.
