Sir,I had three booty cases running(Act 392 & 394).I was in jail for two months too in 2009.Recently(2017), court acquitted me from all three cases after nearly 8 years of trial...Now I preparing for UPSC civil services.Want to become an IAS Officer.Can I select for ias exam...what about police verification?Will UPSC reject my form?

Definitely a strange query.. u cannot suppress this in application form.. will be permitted for preliminary and main exam appearance.. if u clear and when it comes for police verification then will definitely disqualify u.. Even if u r acquitted it should have been a honourarily acquittal and not under benefit of doubt.. technically Even though, if it was a honourarily acquittal , UPSC will blacklist by lowering the interview mark,.. practically so don't waste time.. try some other jobs. Good luck
