Cyber Crime

Hi my question is related to internet. One day i saw a video related to pedophiles and i was really annoyed at them. Thought i would help the victim children by going and reporting these websites who post child sexual abuse. I had to make searches like child p*rn so i can get the names to report them on national cyber website. I got a list of these sites in a website and tried opening few dark web/deep web sites in tor broswer who post such stuff to see if they were working and posting such stuff so i can report them. I landed on one such site and was there for 30 secs but came back since it asked me to register. This was the only website i got access to and the only one i worked. Later i saw on internet that even searching or viewing/browsing such websites is considered a legal offense. My question is will i get in trouble for this. Because of my search history on google and Because i used that website. The positive aspect is i searched things in google like how to report these sites
