Name Bifurcation - Passport

Dear Sir, You have to manage the passport authorities and get it changed as desired.

The proposed change has got to be got synchronised with the remaining important documents pertaining to the process. Because Passport is a basic Document and it alone cannot be changed. Hi, The Name Bifurcation process is quite simple and is considered as a minor change only. You can apply online and request a reissue of your passport in the Normal category. If you need it urgently you can apply under Tatkal if you wish, but you must submit the Annexure E form (on plain paper). While applying, you must first select a change in existing personal details, after which you can either select Given Name & Surname or simply select Others and type Name Bifurcation in the text area. Documents required in this procedure are the Original Passport, Self-attested photocopy of the first Two, Last two, and Observation page of the Passport. Also, on plain paper, write a simple letter to the Regional Passport Officer with the subject as Name Bifurcation, it is optional but it will be better if you have it.
