Name (Is Middle Name Mandatory For Birth / Marriage / Property Reg In Pune)

I am chandramohan and I am from south India. I am working in Pune and need to get my child's school admission In the birth certificate, his first name is Ram and his surname is "chandramohan" (father's name). We don't have a culture of a middle name in the south so, I would like to understand if there would be any problem now or in the future if I get my child admitted to school without a middle name. And I faced a problem when I try to register my marriage in Pune and they ask for the middle name. Kindly suggest.
