Dear Sir It is a small matter and it seems number of years were elapsed .if anything happened you must return back that amount. Please give me RANK FIVE(5) if my answer satisfies you

1. he may be booked for providing false information & to obtain undue benefit, 2. state complete facts for a prompt revert

The question is vague and debatable as the connection between the scholarship and obtaining of job is still not clear. But in both cases the employment can be in danger. if the job was got on fake documents in that condition he can lost the job but if the document was for scholarship then only justification can be asked
