Dear client, The Hindu Adoption and Maintenance Act (HAMA) is one of the laws in India that regulates adoption of children by Hindus. The Central Adoption Resource Authority (CARA) is a statutory body under the Ministry of Women and Child Development, which is responsible for regulating and promoting in-country adoption and inter-country adoption in India. As per the current guidelines, adoption of children in India is regulated by the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015, and the CARA guidelines. Under these guidelines, CARA is the central authority responsible for regulating and monitoring all in-country adoptions in India. If you wish to adopt a child in India, it is advisable to go through the CARA process, which involves registration, preparation of a Home Study Report, and selection of a child for adoption based on the criteria set by the authority. This process is aimed at ensuring that the adoption is in the best interests of the child and is done in a transparent and legal manner. While HAMA is still applicable for adoption by Hindus in India, CARA guidelines take precedence in matters of adoption, and all adoptions have to be registered with CARA. Hence, it is recommended to follow the CARA guidelines for adoption in India, even if you are eligible for adoption under HAMA, to ensure that the adoption is legal and ethical, and the best interests of the child are protected.
Generally the Hindu adoption will be applicable when to the parents of the baby were alive but in your question baby parents are no more but in this circumstances you can make a adoption deed through baby's grandmother because no one relatives of babys are left except grandmother so you can make adoption deed through baby's grandmother.
