Backdated Rental Agreement

Dear Sir, My answers are as follows: 1.) Can we have backdated rent agreement? For eg, I want a rent agreement from May 2021 to March 2022 and I want to create a rent agreement in September i.e. current month. Is it possible? Ans: Legally you are not supposing to create such document and not suppose to ask such questions online. 2.) As I want to have backdated (valid from May 2021 to March*Phone*agreement, can I show rent as paid in cash for months(May to August) and pay further rent via digital payment method. Ans: If you are really paid rent digitally then you can produce such documents and say that it was rent agreement orally and there is no necessity of creating back dated rent agreement. 3.) I am living with my parents and want to create a rent agreement for the same. What is the minimum security deposit for the rental agreement? Thanks for your response in advance. Hello Sir 1. The agreement has to be executed as on or after the date given stamp paper, not earlier. However,a clause may be incorporated into the agreement treating it as effective from a prior date. Notarization merely adds to the evidentiary value of the agreement, it is not compulsory. 2. For this query you need to contact the other party whether they are ready to do so, if agreed then you could do so. 3. A tenant will have to submit a security deposit of two months for residential premises.
