Hello Sir You have all right to recover that money from the land lord. It would be advised to send a legal notice to the land lord to return the security deposit and in case he doesn't you would proceed with filing a money recovery suit agains him. Thanks Please rate if you find this advice helpful.
Hi, Since your lease Deed is not registered it is not advisable to legal course action under agreement of Lease. But, you paid him the Deposit by way of Bank transfer . You can issue Legal Notice to landlord asking him to return the loan amount. if land lord doesn't reply or return your notice. You can file a Money Recovery case against him and you can recover along with all expenses including legal Expenses. Contact me for Further information on this Forum.
