A family of 5: Husband age 58 working in kirana shop Wife age 45 working in kirana shop son age 24 working 10k per month son2 age 23. Studying Daughter age 16. Studying Source of income: Kirana shop owned by the husband The husband is very abusive towards the entire family and has been torturing them since 7 years asking them to leave the house. He has been physically and mentally harassing the wife and children. The husband doesnot care about the family and not paying for their maintenance. The husband has somehow illegally managed to forge the wife's signature and has transferred the house to his name. The wife has not gone to any registrar office and is very sure about it that she has not signed the document. Even in EC and as per records, the property has changed to the husband's name and now he has closed the shop citing false debt reasons and forcing to send the family out of the house. How will this family get justice?

Hi, You can file a complaint against the husband for harassment and cruelty. The wife can also ask for judicial separation and divorce in ground of cruelty under section 13(i)(a) of HMA. You can also release the property mentioning the property is given intentionally and is taken by fraud illegally. You can also ask for maintenance from husband.
