Concern Regarding My In-law Side

I am Muslim and married Muslim girl, they are small issues between my family and My In-law family, In-law family is asking to keep for the separate family to me even they kept my wife and my 3 kids with them and they are not ready to send to my house till the time when I am ready to keep the separate family. I am the only son to my family I and my family (father and mother ) are not at all interested to keep separate families. My wife is affectionate to me but her mother, father, and brothers making her forcible to stand on there decision to keep the separate family. In this case, I am thinking that to send divorce notice as per Muslim law how can I need to proceed. At present, I am in financial crises but my father has properties. Is there any chance to wife side to claim for maintenance and properties we have 3 kids are minor 1 girl 2 boys. If divorce is granted how about my kids how the court will judge.
