I'm planning for home loan from leading loan provider. Is it correct to ask loan provider to provide me an affidavit that they have verified all original documents, parent documents, EC and confirm the title is clear. This is just to bring them into accountability on legal verification as they are charging the customers for processing the loan. What is the legality in the law of court of such affidavit if there are any challenges in the title? Please advise.
