Dear Madam, You may read relevant provisions of Hindu Acts and accordingly act background of your case needs to be looked into before advising. You may file a suit for partition against your brothers if they acquired any property from your parents. Please mark “LIKE” if satisfied by my answer.
Yours is a complex question. Though your brothers are not under legal obligation for the maintenance or alimony but being a Legal heir of your father you may ask for Your share in the property. Your apprehension is not baseless as Your Brothers may disown you. You may approach the Free Legal Aid Office which is established in the Court Complex of Your District. You can't legally bind your Brothers for Permanent alimony but since your are one of the Legal heirs you have Your own right to one share in the property which may serve your purpose. Please give me Rank Five and follow me after reviewing my resume and book a consultation for further discussion and explanation if required.
