We rented our apartment in Aug 2020 to a couple on a name of a lady and later we came to know that in Sep 2020 FIR is registered on husband for bootlegging of alcohol. Now we tried to contact that couple to empty the apartment but they escaped. And in Dec 2020, the lady filed a civil suit stating that we are forcefully removing her. To our bad luck we lost the case in court because FIR was against her husband. Court has ordered us to not to vacate the premise until rent agreement expires and court ordered her to pay the rent as well. When we tried to contact lady for rent she told she won’t give a single rupee and never empty the apartment as well. What to do in this scenario.

Plead that there activities are illegal and source of nuisance. Bootlegging is an illegal and immoral activity and file an Ejectment Petition on these grounds. Hi, File an eviction suit in court on the grounds of non-payment of rent. They cannot stay in your property if they are not paying the rent. Serve them with notice of eviction first. If you found this helpful, please rate us.
