House Construction Obstruction

We have given our house construction contract to local contractor who is also constructing neighbours house. The issue is that the local contractor has orally said that he will do slab work of both house together. As per contract, local contractor had agreed to complete house construction in 3 months. But its almost 5 months now and he has said to us that he will do slab of our house on said date of 10th April. But now the neighbour is saying to us that he won't let the slab work happen cause contractor had said to do slab of both house together. We've already spent lot of money on rent cause we had moved out with 3 months plan and now 5 months are due. What legal action can we take as neighbour is obstructing our house slab work by telling us he won't let it happen.
