Hi, As a legal heir, you can apply to the sub-registrar's office to obtain a copy of the will, if it has been registered. If it was unregistered, you will have to contact the executor of the will and serve them with legal notice to grant you a copy., If you found this helpful, please rate us.

Being Legal heir and beneficiary you can get a copy of the Will from the Office of Registrar of the town where it was Registered but with details. To initiate the process you should get a Legal Notice issued to all the parties, Legal heirs and beneficiaries. Please give me Rank Five and follow me after reviewing my resume and book a consultation for further discussion and explanation if required.

In case the Will is registered in the office of Sub Registrar, the beneficiary of Will or the legal heirs of the grandfather can get a certified copy of the Will from the office of Sub Registrar Office. The beneficiary or Legal Heirs can also inspect/search the record of the office of Sub Registrar for the previous years with the help of local lawyer.
