Hi, He has right to sell, make will or gift his self acquired property to any one he want. But if wife is a joint owner of the property then wife consent is required. In case of ancestral property the consent of all legal heir are required. If the property is jointly owned by couple then he can be stopped by not giving consent for transfer.
