Dear Sir, They cannot prevent you which attracts Penal Provisions of IPC and if you lodge complaint police register a case against him. The landlord may file a civil suit for recovery of arrears of rent this is the only option left with the landlord. Please give me rank after viewing my details. Please call me for further assistance.

It is a Case of overstepping of Power by the Landlord. You may get it settled by negotiations or get the help from the Police. Please give me Rank Five and follow me after reviewing my resume and book a consultation for further discussion and explanation if required.

hi, no one has the right over your belongings, whatso ever be the case. the landlord can not keep your belongings under his possession, its totally violation of your rights. Things you can do: 1. talk to him amicably and resolve the issue. 2. if he disagrees, file an FIR against him 3. send him a legal notice to return your belongings and give him a tentative date as to when will you pay him the due amount. 4. if things are beyond control, file a case in the civil court against him. but since you have not cleared the dues, he can sue you for this. make sure you clear the dues before leaving his house.
