WBHIDCO is allocating EWS flats through lottery and I want to apply to this scheme for allotment of a flat. Flats will be handed over on 99 years’ leasehold basis. In T&C it is said that the prospective lessee will not have the right to sub-divide or sublet the said flat or any part thereof. In case of violation of this clause WBHIDCO will have the right to cancel the allotment. My Question -after allotment to me can I give the flat on RENT.

Hi, It is to inform you that no you cannot give the flat for rent as it is specially for Economically weaker section. It cannot be used for commercial purpose. For further queries, please contact me.

Leave & licence agreement may be executed instead of rent agreement, still same can be disputed by alotees'.
