  • Hello, you dont have to give anything to the husband of your sister but her daughter is covered under Class 1 heir, Section 8 of Hindu Succession Act, 1956 so as per law she is a legal heir and you have to giver her share, also you alone cannot sell property without taking NOC from her, for further query you can consult me.

    Since the children of a predeceased daughter are considered class I legal heirs, they will have the same right to her grandfather's properties as your maternal uncles. Hence, she can stake a claim to these properties as she have the same right to these as her mother would have had if she were alive.
