Less Compensation For The Land Acquisited By NHAI

I have a land abutting NH 216 on pithapuram bypass road. NHAI acquired 5 cents of land for the road expansion. but compensation is being calculated as a rural agricultural land. By the time when notice was published, still my land was agricultural, But later in 2018/19 converted from agri to non agri, In the land, there are no permanent or temporary structures, in the same time we are not doing cultivation also. This is very adjacent to the town, 100mts away there is a residential area for the last 40 -50 years. Still I didn`t approach the authorities for raising the issue. please suggest me the path forward. This notification was published before 2018. Aas of now cost of lands are segregated into agricultural land abutted to NH/ agri land/ housing sites / land suitable for housing sites. Kindly suggest the path forward.
